Give the gift of a new story.

Books are an essential tool for supporting growing brains. Sharing story time is a proven way to strengthen the parent-child bond, build literacy skills, and expose children to new cultures, people, and ideas. We’re always looking for new stories to share with our Way to Grow families.

Seeing images of yourself reflected in storybooks is an easy way to fall in love with reading. We love children’s books with diverse stories and characters, for readers ages 0-8. For more specific title ideas, check out our wishlists below!

All books will be given directly to our Way to Grow families.

Please include a note with your online orders: we’d love to say thank you!

Local Bookstores

When possible, we love to support locally owned bookstores in our community.

Way to Grow is proud to partner with Magers & Quinn Booksellers. Stop by their storefront on 31st and Hennepin, and you’ll find a unique and culturally diverse section of kid’s books near the back of the store.

We also love Birchbark Books & Native Arts, located near Lake of the Isles. Birchbark Books has a beautiful selection of books featuring Indigenous authors, characters, and stories.

Both bookstores offer online and in-store shopping. Please set Way to Grow’s address as the shipping address, or a schedule a visit to deliver books in-person.
