Neighbors Who Care

Winter Drive

Now–December 12

Spread warmth this winter! Shop to help families feel safe, snug, and supported.

It Takes a Village

Way to Grow partners with families across the Twin Cities, providing free, year-round home visits and programs that focus on early literacy, health, and parenting from pregnancy through third grade. Together we ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to succeed in school and life.

But this work doesn’t happen in isolation. It takes all of us standing alongside families to build a future where every child can thrive. Your support fuels this work, from board books and baby formula, to learning tools and classroom supplies.

When you give—or shop from our wishlists—you’re not just meeting a need, you’re showing up for our families in tangible, meaningful ways. Join us in making a difference, one child, one visit, one book at a time! Because what we do together matters.

Gift Cards

Gift cards empower families to shop for what they need most, while honoring their independence and choices.

Whether you purchase one gift card (or multiple), we suggest a minimum gift card value of $50.00.

Note: Please no electronic gift cards—these are difficult to distribute and cumbersome for families to use.

How to donate:

  • We suggest purchasing gift cards from stores that families can easily access either online or in person, with a variety of merchandise to choose from.

Please consider purchasing from one of the following stores:

    • Aldi
    • Amazon
    • Cub Foods
    • JCPenney
    • Kohl’s
    • Marshall’s
    • Target
    • Visa gift cards
    • Walmart
  • Please mail gift cards to our office:

    Way to Grow
    Attn: Fund Development
    201 Irving Ave. N, Suite 100
    Minneapolis, MN 55405

    Please include the following information:

    • Indicate the gift card amount on each card and enclose a gift receipt when possible.
    • Please also include your contact information – we would love to send you a thank you note!

A note about used items…

We are so grateful for your generosity, but we’re only able to accept new items at this time. This ensures that every family receives high-quality, safe, and culturally appropriate supplies—and allows us to match items to specific needs with care and dignity.
