Join us for our second annual, Education is Power event. Together we will hear from Dr. Yohuru Williams, Distinguished University Chair and Professor of History and founding director of the Racial Justice Initiative at the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Williams will speak on the history of educational disparities in our community, the critical importance of empowering future generations, and the ways we can all work toward a more equitable future.
You will also hear from Carolyn Smallwood, Way to Grow CEO as she shares some of the challenges she has overcome in her own life, and speaks to those faced by Way to Grow families today.
Meeting challenges with innovation, Way to Grow has continued to support our community through the difficulties of the past year. Some special guests will share with us why that work is so critical today and as we move forward together.
